Is The Big Class free to start?
Yes — there's a free-forever plan that includes courses, live classes, a 0%-commission storefront, certificates and community tools. You only move to a paid plan when you want extras like a custom domain or higher limits.
Do I need my own payment gateway?
You connect your own Razorpay account, so payments and payouts settle directly into your bank. The Big Class charges 0% commission on your storefront sales — you keep what you earn, minus Razorpay's own gateway fee.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Every academy starts on yourbrand.thebigclass.com, and you can connect a custom domain (a simple CNAME) like learn.yourdomain.com on the Growth and Scale plans.
How do my students get notified?
One composer sends across three channels at once — in-app notifications, email (via your own ZeptoMail sender) and WhatsApp (via your WhatsApp Business sender) — so class reminders and announcements actually get seen.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Courses, your store, certificates and your public site are all drag-and-drop or form-based. The homepage is even written and themed for you from your niche during onboarding.
Can I issue certificates?
Yes — choose a template and bulk-issue from a CSV, with a public verification link on every certificate so employers and learners can confirm it's genuine.
Can I bring over my existing site?
During onboarding you can import your current website's name, logo and brand colour to get a head start, then refine everything in the portal builder.
