Tagging people in batch posts
@-mention any teacher or member to pull them into a thread. They get a louder notification across every channel.

How to tag
In the batch Common Room composer, click the Tag button. A picker opens with two groups: Instructors (course instructor + co-instructors) and Members. Click a name and a styled @Name chip drops into your post at the cursor.
What happens on Post
- Tagged users get a separate "X tagged you in {Batch name}" notification — louder than the regular new-post broadcast.
- The chip in the published post is a clickable link to the user's profile (opens in a new tab).
- Every other batch member still gets the regular "New post in {Batch}" notification (in-app + email + WhatsApp).
- Tagged users are excluded from the broadcast so they don't get pinged twice.
Tagging in replies
Same picker is available in the comment composer. Tagging someone in a reply also pulls them in — they get the "X tagged you in a reply" notification even if they weren't already in the thread.
