Publish, unpublish & republish a course
Publishing puts a course on your storefront; unpublishing pulls it back without losing a thing. Here's exactly what each does to enrolled students.

Publish
From a Draft course, hit Publish (action bar) or go to /dashboard/courses/<id>/settings/publish. The badge flips to Published, the course appears at /p/<tenant>/courses/<slug>, and it becomes payable and enrollable.
Unpublish
Unpublish (action bar) takes the course OFF the storefront — new people can't find, buy, or enrol. The badge returns to Draft.
Unpublish does NOT remove access for students who already paid. Their enrolment, progress, and certificates stay intact — they keep learning at /p/<tenant>/learn/<slug>. It only hides the course from new buyers.
When to unpublish vs other actions
- Pausing sales or fixing content before relaunch → Unpublish (reversible in one click).
- Retiring it for good but keeping records → Archive.
- Removing it entirely → Delete (last resort; see 'Archive vs delete').
Republish
Click Publish again. Existing students were never interrupted; new ones can buy again immediately. If you edited heavily while unpublished, consider snapshotting a Version first.
Unpublishing won't cancel active payment links automatically. If you've paused a course, expire its outstanding links too so nobody pays for something they can't open.
