What Razorpay’s gateway fee actually costs

Gateway fees depend on the payment method (UPI, card, netbanking, international). The exact number is set by Razorpay, not us — we link straight to their pricing page so you’re never reading a stale number.

Why we don’t quote a fixed percentage

Razorpay’s rate card is a matrix: UPI is the cheapest, domestic cards are mid-band, international cards are the highest, and the fees flex with your processing volume. Anything we print on the dashboard is going to be out of date within a quarter. We’d rather under-promise than mislead.

Where to see the live rate

  • Open razorpay.com/pricing for the public rate card.
  • Inside your Razorpay dashboard you’ll see the negotiated rate for your account (sometimes lower than public, if you’ve hit volume tiers).
  • Per-transaction fee is shown in your Razorpay dashboard alongside each settlement — that’s the source of truth.

Where the money actually flows

Money never sits in our accounts. Razorpay deducts their fee at checkout and settles the net amount directly to the bank you registered, on Razorpay’s own schedule (typically T+2 working days).

Our cut

Zero. You’re paying us for the platform via your subscription plan, not via per-transaction skim. Verify it any time against your Razorpay dashboard — what they settle is what hits your bank, untouched by us.

If you bring your own Razorpay account (BYO mode), the fee structure is whatever you’ve negotiated directly with Razorpay. The same dashboard URL applies — you’re looking at your own rate card.
