For creators
White-label your portal
Strip platform attribution so your public portal reads entirely as your brand.
Open /dashboard/portal/brand → Advanced. Two toggles control what visitors see at the bottom of every portal page:
- Hide 'Powered by The Big Class' — removes the thin attribution line in the portal footer.
- Hide every platform-branded element — stronger toggle that implies the first and reserves the same opt-out for future surfaces (email footers, share previews, error pages).
Custom domains use the same toggles. Once your CNAME is verified to <yourdomain>.com, visitors see your portal at your own URL with no platform branding.
What white-label covers
The goal is simple: a visitor should never be able to tell which platform powers your academy. The toggles remove the 'Powered by' line and other platform-branded elements across your public surfaces, so your portal reads as a first-party product — your logo, your colours, your name. Pair it with a custom domain and the URL is yours too.
How it fits with your brand settings
- Set your logo, colours and name once in /dashboard/portal/brand — they flow to every portal page.
- Tab titles and share previews read as your brand (see the SEO & meta guide).
- Add a custom domain so the address bar shows your URL, not a platform subdomain.
Common questions
- Will students see 'The Big Class' anywhere? With white-label on and a custom domain, no — your portal reads entirely as you.
- Does it cover emails and share previews? The stronger toggle reserves the same opt-out across surfaces like email footers and share previews.
- Do I need a custom domain for white-label? No, but combining the two gives the fully-branded result.
