AI presentation limits explained
AI deck generation is rate-limited per plan so the feature stays fast and fair. The counter is based on what you actually generated — and crucially, deleting a deck does not give you a slot back.

When you generate an AI presentation, the usage meter shows three windows — this hour, today, and this week. Each plan has a cap on each window.
How the count works
- Each successful generation records one usage event with a timestamp.
- The hour / day / week numbers are simply how many events fall inside each window — they roll off naturally as time passes.
- Because it counts generations (not decks that currently exist), deleting a presentation does NOT free up a slot.
The count is stored server-side, so it survives restarts and is consistent across devices — you can't reset it by reloading or clearing your browser.
Hit a limit? Wait for the window to roll forward (the hourly cap clears fastest) or upgrade your plan for higher caps.
