Comments
- Visible by default — toggle Allow comments off per post to silence one article
- Visitors leave a name + comment; signed-in students post under their profile
- Hide a comment via the moderation menu — it stays in the database but doesn't render publicly
- Notifications fan out to the post author when a new comment lands
Reactions
Six curated emojis — 👍 ❤️ 🎉 💡 🔥 👀 — that visitors can toggle on each post. Counts persist; one reaction per visitor per emoji per post.
Subscribe form
A subscribe form renders below every post (and can be disabled per post). Submissions feed into your portal leads inbox — the same place contact-form leads land.
Sharing
The share button uses the Web Share API on mobile (iOS / Android show the native share sheet) and falls back to clipboard copy with a toast on desktop.
Spam: comments don't currently have CAPTCHA. If you start getting spam, hide it via the moderation menu and consider disabling comments on high-traffic posts where the conversation doesn't add value.
