Cancel — with or without deleting data
Cancelling a subscription is two questions: why you're leaving, and whether to keep your workspace on the free Starter plan or deactivate everything.

Where to cancel
Open Billing & plan from the sidebar, then click Cancel subscription on the current plan card. (If you're still on the trial, the same button reads 'Cancel trial'.)
What the dialog asks
- Reason — pick from the short preset list (too expensive, missing feature, switching tools, not using, hit bugs, temporary, other). This is the single biggest signal we have for what to fix.
- Tell us more — optional free-text up to ~2000 characters. Skip if you don't have anything specific to add.
- Also deactivate the account + data — leave this OFF if you want to keep the workspace and come back later. Turning it on signs everyone out and hides your courses, students, recordings, and certificates.
What happens after you confirm
If you only cancelled the subscription, you keep paid access until the end of the current billing cycle, then auto-downgrade to the free Starter plan. If you also asked to deactivate the account, every user in your workspace is signed out and our login route refuses further sessions. We keep a soft-deleted copy of your data for the refund window in case you change your mind — see the Refund Policy and Privacy pages linked inside the dialog.
