Assessments: create, attach & grade
The Assessments workspace is where quizzes, tests, and assignments for a course live — build them, attach them to modules, set passing rules, and review submissions.
Last updated Jun 1, 2026
Open Assessments from the course action bar — /dashboard/courses/<id>/assessments. The stat on the detail page shows how many are attached ('—' means none yet).
Build one
- Click New assessment and pick a type (quiz, graded test, or assignment).
- Add questions — MCQ, multi-select, short answer, or file-upload assignment.
- Set rules: passing score, attempts allowed, time limit, and whether it gates the next module.
- Attach it to the course or a specific module in the curriculum.
Grade & review
- Auto-graded question types score instantly; assignments land in a review queue.
- See per-student attempts, scores, and pass/fail.
- Passing can trigger a certificate if you've set one up.
