The course detail page, explained
Everything you can do to a course lives on one screen — the status badges up top, the action bar, and a stats row that tells you at a glance whether the course is healthy.
Last updated Jun 1, 2026
View Details (on the course row menu) opens /dashboard/courses/<id> — the home base for a single course.
The badges (top row)
- Published / Draft — is it live to learners? See 'Publish, unpublish & republish'.
- Access — Public, Unlisted, or Private. See 'Control who can see a course'.
- Level — Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced.
- Category & subject tag (e.g. 'Mathematics – Primary') — how it's classified and found.
The action bar
- Assessments, Reviews, Versions — open dedicated workspaces (each has its own help article).
- Preview — see the course exactly as a student would.
- Share — get a link, embed, or social card.
- Announce — message everyone enrolled.
- Unpublish — take it off the storefront without deleting.
- Edit — change content and settings.
- Duplicate — clone it as a starting point.
The stats row
- Students — total enrolled. 0 right after publishing is normal — send a payment link to change that.
- Duration — total runtime of all lessons; '0m' means no timed content yet.
- Lessons — count of lessons across modules.
- Assessments — number attached; '—' means none yet.
- Rating — average from learner reviews; '—' until you have ratings.
A '—' isn't an error — it means 'nothing here yet'. A brand-new published course legitimately shows 0 students, 0m, 0 lessons, and '—' for assessments and rating.
