Discovery: category, level, language & tags

The Discovery section is 'how students find and judge your course.' Category, level, language, and tags drive your catalog filters and search — get them right and the right learners show up.

In the Basics tab, the Discovery card groups the four fields that classify your course.

Category

Pick a subject like 'Mathematics – Primary'. This is the primary way learners filter your storefront, so choose the one they'd actually browse to.

Level

Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. It sets expectations and feeds the level filter. Level honestly — a mismatch is a top cause of refunds.

Language

The language the course is taught in. Pick from the available languages; some are marked 'Coming soon'. If your course shows a 'Legacy — pick a new one' chip, switch it to a current language.

Tags

Free-form keywords — type one and press Enter ('Add a tag and press Enter…'). The editor suggests tags based on your category. Tags widen searchability without cluttering the main category. Match what learners search ('CBSE Class 5', the exam name, the grade).

Think of it as the difference between where your course is shelved (category + level + language) and the keywords on the spine (tags). One category, several tags.
