Preview a course as a visitor, a fresh student, or a halfway student
The Preview dropdown opens your course through three different sets of eyes — a logged-out visitor, a brand-new student, and someone halfway through — so you catch what each one actually experiences before anyone pays.

Click Preview on the action bar (or on the course detail page) to open the dropdown. Each option opens the real learner page at /learn/<slug> with an ?as= mode, in a new tab — without touching any real enrolment or progress data.
As public visitor
Subtitle: 'Logged-out / not enrolled'. This is what a prospective buyer sees — the sales landing page, the curriculum outline with lessons locked behind an Enroll CTA, and only your free-preview lessons playable. Use it to sanity-check your pitch: is the value clear, is the free preview compelling, is the price right?
As fresh student
Subtitle: 'Day 1, zero progress'. A synthetic enrolment with nothing completed. This is the first-day experience — what unlocks immediately, what's gated by drip, where a new learner is told to start. Use it to check the on-ramp doesn't feel empty or confusing.
As halfway student
Subtitle: '~50% complete, drip gates open'. A synthetic enrolment with roughly half the lessons (in order) pre-completed and time-based drip gates released. Use it to check the mid-course experience — progress tracking, what later modules look like once unlocked, and the run-up to completion and any certificate.
What to check across all three
- Visitor: free-preview lessons play; everything else is locked behind Enroll.
- Fresh: the right first lessons are open; drip gates show 'Unlocks on <date>'.
- Halfway: progress reads correctly and later modules render once unlocked.
- Everywhere: media plays, attachments download, quizzes load.
