Simple / Advanced form mode

Course creation and live-class scheduling default to Simple — only the essentials. Flip to Advanced for the full surface.

Two forms in the dashboard now ship a Simple / Advanced toggle in the header: Create New Course (/dashboard/courses/new) and Schedule a Live Class (/dashboard/classes/new). The toggle controls how much of the form is visible.

Course creation — Simple mode

  • Basic Information (title, subtitle, description, category, level, language)
  • Course Curriculum (modules + lessons)
  • Course thumbnail
  • Pricing

Advanced adds back: Learning Outcomes, Certificate template, Requirements.

Live-class scheduling — Simple mode

  • Title
  • Date & time + duration
  • In-house room URL preview (auto-generated)
  • One-line notification summary ("24 students will be notified via In-app · Email · WhatsApp")

Advanced adds back: Course link, Description, Host picker, Provider override (Zoom / Meet / Teams), Custom URL, Recurrence card, per-channel notification toggles.

Mode sticks per browser

Each toggle stores its preference in localStorage so power users don't flip it every time. Defaults to Simple for first-time visitors.

All fields hidden in Simple mode have sensible defaults applied at save time — they're not dropped from the database. You can fill them in later from the course / class settings pages.
