The board: columns, statuses, and drag-and-drop
The board has six status columns — Upcoming, Scheduled, Teaching now, Taught, Revisit, and Skipped. Drag a topic between columns to update its status, or reorder within a column. Secondary columns collapse to thin strips so your active lanes stay wide.

The board is a Kanban: each column is a teaching status, and each card is a topic. Moving a card is how you record progress — there are no separate buttons to learn. This article explains what each column means and how dragging works.
What each status means
- Upcoming — not started yet (the default for a new topic).
- Scheduled — has a planned teaching date (set by hand or by Auto-schedule).
- Teaching now — what you're actively covering this week.
- Taught — done; the date you taught it is recorded.
- Revisit — taught, but flagged to reinforce later.
- Skipped — intentionally not teaching this one (kept for the record).
Move a topic
Grab a card and drag it onto another column to change its status. A dashed slot opens where it will drop, and the other cards shift to make room. Drag within the same column to reorder topics. You can also change status without dragging — use the status dropdown on the card.
Collapse columns you don't use daily
Scheduled, Revisit, and Skipped start collapsed as thin vertical strips so Upcoming, Teaching now, and Taught keep full width. Click a strip to expand it, or the chevron in a column header to collapse it. Your layout is remembered per board, and you can still drop cards onto a collapsed strip.
