Paid, Unpaid & Pending: the money states
These three statuses cover everyone who's been invited. Paid is done, Unpaid hasn't started, Pending is mid-payment — and each one wants a different move from you.

Paid
- What it means: the payment succeeded and the student is auto-enrolled.
- The link flips to Paid and the payment shows on their student profile under Payments.
- Your move: nothing required. Optionally send a welcome or point them at where to start.
Unpaid
- What it means: they were sent a link but haven't paid yet.
- These are your warmest leads — they've already been asked.
- Your move: filter to Unpaid, Select all, and Send again to nudge — try a different channel (email → WhatsApp). A note mentioning the expiry ('your seat is held until Friday') converts well.
Pending
- What it means: a payment is in flight — checkout started but not confirmed, or a slower method (bank transfer, some UPI flows) is still clearing.
- It usually resolves to Paid on its own within minutes to a day.
- Your move: wait. Don't send a 'you haven't paid' reminder to a Pending student — it's confusing. Only investigate if it's been stuck unusually long.
Never re-send a payment link to someone who's Paid or Pending — you risk double-charging or confusing them. Bulk send skips Paid automatically; be careful with manual individual sends.
