For creators
Create your first doc
Start from a template or a blank page. The editor is a Notion-style multiplayer surface — slash commands, drag-to-rearrange, keyboard shortcuts your team already knows.

Open the hub
Open /dashboard/docs. You'll see your sidebar tree on the left, recent docs in the middle, and the template gallery below. The gallery has eight scaffolds — Course handbook, Lesson study guide, Cohort wiki, Public knowledge hub, plus four operations templates.
Pick a template (or start blank)
- Click any template tile — we copy its starter content into a new draft doc owned by you.
- Or click 'New blank doc' for an empty page seeded with a single paragraph.
- Templates are starting points — once a doc exists, you can change anything.
Write
The editor is built on BlockNote with Liveblocks for multi-cursor editing. Type '/' anywhere to open the slash menu — every block type lives there, including our five typed embeds (lesson, recording, whiteboard, quiz, another doc).
- / — slash menu (everything)
- Cmd/Ctrl + B / I / U — bold / italic / underline
- ## + space — heading 2 (Markdown-in works for every block)
- Drag the handle on the left of any block to rearrange
- Drafts auto-save 300ms after the last keystroke — no save button
All docs start as Drafts visible only to you. Use the audience picker in the top-right when you're ready to share — see the publishing doc for the six audience options.
