Export an engagement report (PDF) — class or per-student

Download a branded PDF straight from the Engagement hub: a class report for the whole cohort, or a one-student report with a dimension radar and per-course breakdown. Great for faculty reviews, parent meetings, and progress records.

The Engagement hub (Dashboard → Students → Engagement) can export two kinds of PDF. Both are generated in your browser and carry your workspace branding — logo, name, and primary colour — on the header.

Class report

  • Click Export class report in the page header (top-right).
  • It covers the currently-scoped cohort — so if a course is selected in the filter, the PDF is just that course.
  • Inside: the summary cards, the lifecycle-distribution chart, the recognition leaderboards (top 3 each), and a needs-attention table.

Per-student report

  • In the Roster & nudges tab, each row has a download icon — click it to export that student.
  • Inside: the student's lifecycle stage and level, headline metrics (overall, attendance, quiz average, coursework, XP, questions, improvement), a six-axis dimension radar (attendance, quizzes, coursework, participation, consistency, streak), and a per-course table.
Reports use the same numbers shown on screen and on the student profile — one shared 'overall score' formula means the PDF, the hub, and the profile card always match.

Good to know

  • The file downloads to your browser's Downloads folder (e.g. <Student>_engagement.pdf or <Workspace>_class_engagement.pdf).
  • Long reports paginate automatically across A4 pages.
  • Export needs at least one enrolled student in the current scope — the button is disabled for an empty cohort.
Generation runs in your browser, so keep the tab in the foreground until the download starts (a second or two for a class). If a chart looks blank, the snapshot was taken too early — just export again.
